Job Summary

  • Direct flow of production materials through multiple sewing & sealing operations 
  • Responsible for production line staffing assignments for 4-15 people  
    • Monitoring productivity v. measured timing for operations.  
    • Assigning people to correct operations based on training. 
    • Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities. 
    • Will be accountable to KPIs tied to labor expenses and other operating expenses 
    • Allocate resources to ensure minimum downtime and completion of scheduled activities. Prioritize and manage workload to ensure assignments address goals and objectives.  
  • Staff Supervision:  
    • Approving time off requests and addressing violations of attendance policy via verbal and written communication with staff.  
    • Addressing all employee issues/concerns
    • Responsible for assisting with the onboarding process of new hires, conducting reviews for associates, ensuring training of associates 
    • Must be able to communicate in Spanish; read, write and speak.

Qualifications 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (MANDATORY)
  • Previous experience as a team lead in a production/manufacturing environment.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel, Teams, Outlook

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
